Aunty Krissy and the Meaning of Love

 

We boys have known our Aunty Krissy for most of our lives (we're 9 now!) and we love her to bits,

as do our humans!

 

She's always kind to us and does heaps of stuff for us, like taking us for walks, cutting our toenails or helping us have a bath- which makes us even MORE beautiful!

 

We know which days she regularly comes and get a little bit excited when she arrives

- she always let's us know what COOL DUDES we are!!

  • Stay at ‘Apollospride House’ (my home) overnight or for weekends and holidays

  • MUST be reliably house trained and well behaved

  • MUST be fully immunised and have up to date flea (and tick) treatment

  • Bring their own food and medication

  • Supply a 'No Poo for You' form for use at the vet if necessary

Hi everyone! My name is Oscar.

I have known Krissy for 4 years and she takes very good care of me whenever I stay at her house. She usually has other doggie friends there for me to play with which is great fun!

My family go away just for weekends mostly, but last year they went overseas for 4 weeks and Krissy looked after me the whole time.

I don’t fret when my family are away because being at Krissy’s place is just like being at home. She gives me lots of cuddles and pats (and sometimes the occasional treat) and makes sure I get my walk and plenty of fresh air.

I’m getting on in years now and I can’t play quite like I used to, but Krissy knows when I need a rest or some help to climb the stairs.

Krissy is very much a part of my human family and I’m grateful that she cares about me so much. I like to say thank you to her by giving her a lick or a lying at her feet in the evening.

“hi all, our names are Ellie, Max and Archie - we have been looked after by Krissy heaps of times.

 

We have all had sleep overs at Krissy's place, especially when Archie and Max were younger, and now Ellie stays with Krissy most times (as she is getting older and loves a little more TLC).

 

Max and Archie prefer to stay at home, where Krissy comes each day to feed us, give cuddles, check our water, give more cuddles and clean our yard up (did we mention the cuddles?!). She also does other things for our family such as bringing in the papers and bins if needed.

 

We know our family really love the things Krissy does for us, as it means they can go away on holidays and not worry about us. While we miss our family when they are away, it is OK because Krissy loves us just as much as they do!

 

We think that you should try her services, we are very sure you wont be disappointed

Caring for animals and birds at home while you are away - feeding, cleaning yard, collecting mail .....

 

Go away & have a happy holiday, weekend or overnight stay. I tend your animals in the familiar surroundings of their home

 

On a daily visit to your property I:

 

  • Feed your dogs and/or other animals or birds

  • Clear droppings [cat trays included]

  • Collect mail and papers

  • Put bins out for waste collection

  • Hose paved areas if necessary

  • Visually check house and yard security

  • Replenish drinking water

  • Give medication e.g. tablets, ointment

  • Clean bowls

  • In some cases dogs can have a 15-20 minute walk on lead (weather permitting) - Walks are charged for, only if done.

 

  • I can make 2 visits a day in the Basic and Extra areas for an extra charge

  • Vet and emergency contact numbers need to be supplied

  • A 'No Poo for You' form for use at the vet if needed is completed

'IN HOME HOLIDAY' plus WALK

  • Walking service is available for dogs if owners in the Basic and Extra areas are away

  • Dogs are walked ON LEAD only

  • Walks by ‘No Poo for You’ are 15-20 minutes duration

  • Walks are supplied dependent on weather and availability

  • Dogs are not walked in temperatures above 24oC or in heavy rain

  • This is not a training session, so dogs need to be able to walk in a controlled manner on lead

Krissy has been caring for me for quite some time now when my Mum & Dad go on extended holidays.

I enjoy my stays very much, and look forward to all the care and attention (and those extra little treats- she knows I looooove food). 

I sometimes even have short holidays with Krissy, when Mum & Dad have to duck away unexpectedly.

I am especially lucky staying at Krissy's, as I am allowed inside her house, and often have other furry friends to play with.

As my family left home, this lady walked in. I was frightened but a little excited. I ran to her. She knew my name and told me to sit. I didn't listen. I thought she was going to take me away. Then she gave me a kind smile. I had a warm feeling inside and did as I was told. She gave me a deliiiishious treat. Over the next couple of days she kept coming and taking me for walks and teaching me new tricks. A friendship was developed and I began to trust my new friend. I learnt her name was Krissy. Then my family came home and she came no more. I wonder if they knew this lady was coming while they were away? The next year my family left again as they do every year. I was so excited when Krissy came back! She came for over a week, we had so much fun as we had had the previous year. I was a little mischievous at times as I can be. I always look forward to spending my special time with her.
